Food was good. I always had ok service when I've gone there but the last time I went was terrible. It was slow in the place. I had to wait to be seated with many open tables. Had to wait to get my order in. Had to wait 15 minutes after she gave me my bill to pay. I left cash on the table and left. The food is good but I'm probably going to Rita Mae's or John John's next time.

Lots of choices and the food is great. The prices aren't bad either. They have lots of specials.

Food was good, service was good, place seemed good overall. Unrelated but conversation starters: Thought the ducting for the AC was pretty cool how it could be retracted if ever needed. Also found that camera inside was unplugged by door or placed to appear that way either way it's funny.

Google review did not mislead on this great lunch spot! My coworker and I were nearby for work and used Google Maps to find a quick lunch spot that looked good since we were unfamiliar with the area. The lunch was delicious, the service fast, and I really enjoyed the feel of the restaurant. I would definitely make a return visit here if we are in the area again. Definitely recommend!

Food was kind of bland, had to chase down a hostess to seat us and the service was extra lacking. Thought it would be better than what it was.

The food and service was extremely good. I went to the restroom(which was very clean) and by the time I got back, my food was already here. 10/10 will be coming back. It also helps that an American idol star was here tonight.

Most definitely my new favorite place to eat. Friendly service and they are great with kids. The owner even came out to check on all the customers and make sure that we all were okay and enjoying our food and to get her own input on what we thought about it.

Stopped in solely based on rating and wasn’t disappointed. We ordered the topped catfish and it was amazing. It had a taste of everything (catfish, shrimp, and crab cake) all covered in a bayou sauce. What a wonderfully flavored meal served with asparagus and roasted potato. Our server was Liz. She was very personable and professional. The restaurant was clean and by far the best seafood we have had. Everything is cooked homemade! We highly recommend you give them your business!

This place has a nice atmosphere with a large, multi-part dining room, televisions, a bar, and live music at times. They serve up your typical seafood and cajun dishes. Of course the seafood is very fresh, but not as spectacular as most of the Louisiana spots I've been to. There aren't too many flavors jumping out at you; you get what you get, which is neither bad nor great. I wouldn't deter anybody for giving Atchafalaya Cafe a try for the all-around experience and great service, but if you're just looking for incredible seafood, maybe go elsewhere.

Very good food and service

The wait was soooo long. We kept having to wave down our waitress and she took a long time to check us out. The food wasn’t all that great. Kind of bland if were being honest. I had the lunch special so maybe I just ordered the wrong thing?

Okay, so the food here is AMAZING, and that alone makes it worth going to... but there's so much more!! Our food came out in minutes. My kids spilled not one but 2 drinks, and they insisted that we eat our food while it was hot and cleaned them both up. My youngest son was in a foul mood and started crying about a toy car that didn't work. They called and had an awesome guy come fix it before we even finished eating! And the owner taught my oldest child how to win a toy from the machine!! This is by far the best place we've ever been to anywhere.

Good food fast great price and service was great and friendly.

Burgers were frozen and just plain bad. Service was fine but they like to talk a lot. Maybe it was because of the storm. Idk. Don’t order the burgers and you may have a better experience

Very nice owners, waitress was perfect. Everyone was super Friendly. Food came out in a out on a timly manner. It was very clean . Price was not bad at all . Would recommend anyone to stop by and give them a try .
